„A hundred years!“, says big oak tree.
„A beginning!“ replies the small,
puts down roots.
Transience lives in the soil,
Eternity in the stars.

Back I go the trail of memories,
Time dripping from the tree tops.
Plan of life:
A breath separates stone from emotion
splits death from life.

But the stars do move,
so it is mentioned in history´s pages.
Big Bang, the great shock,
cut time from eternity –
that one silent and unmoved.
