Once again NSA! Everybody knows them, every day you can read something about them. Meanwhile this topic is annoying. „Just let them do what they want to! We won´t be able to change anything!“. Is that right? From many citizens I hear that monitoring is perfectly ok. If you do not commit crimes, there´s nothing to worry about. Ok so far! But are we already conditoned in such a way that our privacy doesn´t matter anymore?! Nowadays television sets with built-in cameras are available. So you can record and watch the film afterwards. But this also works the other way around. You can, if you like, look into the living room from outside. And yes, it bothers me knowing somebody being able to watch me while I am eating my potato chip bag during a film and looking up during which movie I fall asleep on the couch. According to a leading gazette in Germany, the NSA investigation committee of the Bundestag wants to protect itself in a very special way: No more digital communication, they will even renounce to send encrypted e-mails or to use encrypted mobile phones. The secret is quite analogous: one is considering the use of non-electronic typewriters. I can already see the sign at the door: „Spies keep out!“. All´s well that ends well …

Ja, schon wieder NSA! Jeder kennt sie, man liest täglich über sie. Allmählich ist man das Thema leid. „Sollen die doch machen, was sie wollen! Wir können doch eh nichts daran ändern!“. Ist das so? Von vielen Mitbürgern höre ich schon, das mit der Überwachung sei doch vollkommen ok. Wenn man keine Straftaten begehe, habe man auch nichts zu befürchten. Schön und gut! Aber sind wir wirklich schon so konditioniert, dass uns unsere Privatsphäre egal ist?! Es gibt mittlerweile Fernseher mit eingebauter Kamera. Damit kann man aufnehmen und den Film nachher gucken. Aber das funktioniert auch andersherum. Man kann, wenn man will, auch von außen ins Wohnzimmer gucken. Und ja, es stört mich, wenn mich jemand beobachtet, während ich meine Chipstüte beim Film esse und nachschaut, wann ich bei welchem Film auf der Couch einschlafe. Laut einer führenden Gazette in Deutschland will sich der NSA-Untersuchungsausschuss des Bundestages nun auf ganz besondere Art schützen: Keine digitale Kommunikation mehr, man will sogar auf das Versenden verschlüsselter E-Mails und die Nutzung von Krypto-Handys verzichten. Das Geheimnis ist ganz analog: man erwägt die Nutzung nicht-elektronischer Schreibmaschinen. Ich sehe schon das Schild an der Tür: „Spione müssen leider draußen bleiben!“. Geht doch …
